Manufactured in the UK, this chimney pot meets all the required standards, including those outlined in Approved Document J. It is essential for conveying combustion gases from solid fuel fires safely into the atmosphere.
Before installation, inspect the chimney for any damage, such as cracks or defective mortar pointing, and ensure the flue lining is clear of debris. The space between the flue liner and chimney stack should be filled with insulating materials like weak lime mortar or lightweight vermiculite insulating cement to enhance performance. Install a damp proof course below the top layer of brickwork, and ensure the chimney stack top is level.
