The VIT-Smooth 500mm 2 Part Adjustable Pipe (usable length 565-920mm) is a versatile solution for connecting gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances to your flue system. Crafted from zero carbon steel with a powder vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, this pipe is designed to withstand temperatures up to 600°C. Ideal for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, the VIT-Smooth pipe is not suitable for traversing ceilings or combustible walls.
Installation is straightforward with its friction fit joints, and no additional sealing is required. However, joint compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security. For longevity, ensure that any exposed steel is treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.
Maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications, so incorporating inspection and cleaning points within your setup is highly recommended.
