The VIT-Smooth 1000mm Pipe (Ø 150mm) is a robust and reliable connecting flue pipe ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances experiencing temperatures up to 600°C. This single-skin pipe, crafted from zero carbon steel, features a powder vitreous enamel coating with a stylish matt black finish. It serves as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System but is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.
The product's friction fit joint design eliminates the need for sealing, though jointing compound can be applied for added security. Importantly, this pipe should be installed at least 375mm away from combustible materials and positioned so the smaller diameter points downward, ensuring no condensate escapes. Maintenance is straightforward, with access doors recommended at directional changes for ease of chimney sweeping and inspection.
