This pipe suits gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, making it highly versatile.

However, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is a breeze with its friction fit joints, requiring no sealants, although you can use a jointing compound for extra security. Always ensure the smaller diameter points downwards to prevent any condensate leakage and preserve the pipe’s appearance.

The VIT-Smooth pipe can be cut to size, but exposed steel must be sealed with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular maintenance, especially for solid fuel appliances, will keep your chimney in top condition. Incorporating a VIT-Smooth pipe with access doors at directional changes simplifies cleaning and inspection.
