The VIT-Smooth 250mm Pipe - Ø 150mm is a high-quality connecting flue pipe designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. Made from durable zero carbon steel and finished with a powder vitreous enamel coating in matt black, this single-skin pipe ensures longevity and a sleek appearance. Ideal for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, it must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Featuring a friction-fit joint, the VIT-Smooth pipe doesn't require sealing, though fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security. Designed for easy cutting, any exposed steel should be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.
Maintenance is simple, with provisions for inspecting and cleaning, especially for solid fuel applications. Ensure regular chimney sweeping to keep your system efficient and safe.
