Crafted from zero carbon steel with a sleek powder vitreous enamel coating in matt black, the VIT-Smooth pipe ensures durability and a polished look.
It is intended strictly as a connecting pipe between the appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Importantly, it must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.During installation, ensure the pipe is positioned correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates within the flue system. While the VIT-Smooth pipe features a friction fit joint that doesn't necessitate sealing, using a jointing compound can offer added security.
When fitted within 375mm of combustible materials like wood or plasterboards, make sure the installation adheres to safety guidelines.For maintenance, regular chimney inspection and cleaning are crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. This can be effectively accomplished by incorporating VIT-Smooth pipes with access doors at directional changes.
