Ideal for installation with Mi-Flex 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, the London Gather Hood 9 x 19 Inch - Ø 180 ensures effective gas flow transition from your fireplace to the flue liner. Essential for making a complete and safe chimney system, this gather hood conforms to Building Regulations Document J. Suitable for high-temperature use up to 600°C, it can handle fuel types including wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil.
Designed to be securely fixed inside a masonry chimney, it utilises fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealants for gas-tight sealing. Maintenance is straightforward, requiring annual inspections and sweeping, recommended twice yearly for solid fuel appliances. Chimney systems must be capable of easy maintenance access, important for both functionality and safety.
