The VIT-Smooth - Smooth 90° Elbow with Door - Ø 175mm is a premium quality connecting flue pipe designed to ensure a seamless connection between your appliance and flue system. Manufactured from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matt black finish, this elbow pipe is engineered to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, making it suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances.For optimal safety and performance, the VIT-Smooth should only be used as a connecting pipe and never to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward, with a friction-fit design eliminating the need for seals, although jointing compounds such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security.Maintenance is made easy with the built-in access door, allowing for straightforward inspection and cleaning.
Ensure your chimney, particularly in solid fuel applications, is swept and maintained at least once a year. When cutting the pipe, make sure to treat exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.Always wear appropriate PPE during installation for safety.
