Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matt black finish, this elbow ensures both strength and sophistication. It's capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C, making it suitable for various applications.

However, it must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls due to safety concerns.Installation is straightforward but requires careful attention to detail. Ensure a piece of VIT-Smooth isn't placed within 375mm of any combustible material. The smaller diameter should be pointed downward to contain all condensates within the flue system.

Although the friction-fit joints don't require sealing, using a jointing compound like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can offer extra security. Additionally, exposed steel should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time.Maintenance is crucial, particularly for solid fuel appliances, and we recommend annual cleaning and sweeps. Installing VIT-Smooth with access doors at directional changes will facilitate this process.

Protective equipment should always be worn during installation to ensure safety.
