Note that VIT-Smooth should only be used as a connecting pipe and not for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Its friction fit joints mean no need for sealing, though additional jointing compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be applied for extra security. Easy to cut and install, remember to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.
