The VIT-Smooth 33° Elbow with Door Ø 150mm is designed to serve as a connecting pipe between your appliance and your flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Made from zero carbon steel with a matte black powder vitreous enamel coating, it’s suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, handling temperatures up to 600°C. It’s important to note that VIT-Smooth should not be used to pass through ceilings or walls made of combustible materials.
When installing, ensure that no section is closer than 375mm to any combustible material. The system is designed for a friction fit, so sealing isn't necessary but can be done for added security. Maintenance is easy with the built-in access door, which allows for convenient cleaning and inspection, especially for solid fuel applications.
Regular sweeping and maintenance are recommended, ideally at least once a year.
