The VIT-Smooth 45°/135° Elbow with Door, Ø 150mm, is an exceptional choice for connecting your appliance to the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Crafted from zero carbon steel with a durable powder vitreous enamel coating in a sophisticated matte black finish, it is built to last and withstand temperatures up to 600°C. This elbow is perfect for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances and should only be used as a connecting pipe, not for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.
When installing, ensure the VIT-Smooth is positioned correctly, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to prevent condensate from escaping. Though it fits together via friction, you may choose to add a layer of jointing compound for extra security. The pipe can be cut to fit, but remember to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to avoid rusting.
Regular maintenance is important, and the built-in access door allows for easy chimney cleaning, making this piece essential for solid fuel applications.
