The VIT-Smooth 0°-90° Adjustable Elbow - Ø 150mm is a high-performance connecting pipe designed to offer flexibility and precision for your flue system. Manufactured from high-quality zero carbon steel and finished with a durable matt black powder vitreous enamel coating, this adjustable elbow is ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C.Built for seamless integration, the VIT-Smooth pipe should only be used as a connecting section between your appliance and either a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. It is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.

The single skin construction ensures robustness, while the friction fit joint provides a secure connection without needing sealing. Nevertheless, for enhanced security, you can use jointing compounds like fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant.In terms of installation, ensure the smaller diameter points downwards to prevent condensates from escaping. Maintain a 375mm clearance from any combustible materials and use appropriate PPE during the installation process.

The elbow can be cut to fit custom lengths, but any exposed steel should be treated with high temperature paint to prevent rusting. For optimal maintenance, install with access doors at direction changes and regularly clean the chimney, especially for solid fuel appliances.
