The VIT-Smooth 90° Tee and Cap - Ø 150mm is a robust and versatile connecting component for your flue system. It is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with durable powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matte black finish, this tee ensures longevity and optimal performance.
The VIT-Smooth should solely connect your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System—it's not designed to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Easy to install, the pipe should have its smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates contained within the system. The friction fit joint requires no sealing, though jointing compounds like fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security.
Remember to maintain your chimney diligently, especially for solid fuel applications, by using access doors at directional changes for easy cleaning. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation and treat any cut edges with high temperature paint to prevent rust.
