Suitable for appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation), this adaptor supports a variety of fuel types including wood (<20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil.Perfect for making the transition from a connecting flue system to a flexible flue liner, the Screw-FIX Top Hat Adaptor ensures that the connection is made securely within an existing masonry chimney, thereby maintaining a sleek and professional appearance.

Use fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant to achieve a gas-tight seal. The chimney system must be accessible for regular sweeping and maintenance, ideally performed by a certified professional such as those registered with HETAS. Regular maintenance is essential, especially for solid fuel applications, to prevent blockages and build-up of deposits.
