Made to comply with Building Regulations Document J, this gather hood is perfect for multi-fuel settings, including wood (with <20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, all operating up to 600°C (T600 designation). When installing, make sure the flexible flue liner is fully enclosed within a masonry chimney, and use the appropriate high-temperature sealants. Regular maintenance and sweeping by a competent person are essential for optimal performance, especially for solid fuel applications. Never use chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys.
