Ensure the adaptor is not placed within 375mm of combustible materials like wood or plasterboard. Always install it the correct way up, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to prevent condensate from escaping.
While the friction-fit joints don’t require sealing, you can apply a jointing compound for added security and to maintain the sleek appearance.
