The VIT-Smooth Smooth 33° Elbow with Door - Ø 125mm is designed for seamless connectivity between your appliance and various flue systems, including Flue Liners, Chimney Stacks, and Twin Wall Flue Systems. This single-skin connecting flue system is crafted from zero-carbon steel and features a durable matt black powder vitreous enamel coating, ensuring superior performance and longevity. Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C.When installing, it's crucial to position the VIT-Smooth as specified—the smaller diameter should always be pointing downward to ensure condensates stay within the flue system, preventing external damage.
For secure joints, no additional sealing is required due to its friction fit design, although the application of a jointing compound such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can provide added security.Care should be taken when handling and cutting the VIT-Smooth pipe, ensuring all exposed steel is treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Proper PPE is essential during installation. Regular maintenance is critical, particularly for solid fuel applications, and this elbow's built-in access door facilitates easy inspection and cleaning, aiding in efficient chimney upkeep.
