Crafted from zero carbon steel and finished with a powder vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black, this single skin pipe is suitable for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances at temperatures up to 600°C. Installation is straightforward, but it’s crucial to ensure the smaller diameter faces downwards to keep condensates inside the flue system.
Remember, VIT-Smooth pipes should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls and should be kept a minimum of 375mm away from any combustible materials. This pipe can be trimmed to fit, but exposed steel must be protected with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Maintenance is simple with recommended provisions for inspection and cleaning, especially for solid fuel appliances.
