Designed to serve as the connection between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, it is crucial to note that it should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Installation is straightforward with the VIT-Smooth, thanks to its friction fit joints which do not require sealing.
For added security, each joint can be coated with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. When cutting the pipe, make sure to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always keep a safe distance of at least 375mm from combustible materials during installation.Maintenance is easy, particularly with solid fuel applications.
