The Screw-FIX Top Hat Adaptor - Ø 175 is an essential component for constructing a secure and efficient chimney system. Specifically designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this adaptor ensures a strong, gas-tight seal. Suitable for appliances running up to 600°C, it can handle wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil.
Regulations require flexible flue liners to be entirely enclosed inside a masonry chimney, ensuring both safety and efficacy. To guarantee a perfect transition from the connecting flue system to the flexible liner, the adaptor must be securely fitted at the base of the chimney below the register plate, offering a clean and professional finish. Regular maintenance and sweeping by a competent person are recommended at least once a year, especially for solid fuel systems.
