The MI-FLEX Adaptor - Ø 180 is designed to ensure a seamless connection between rigid single wall connecting flue systems and MI-FLEX flexible liners of the same diameter. Crafted from high-grade 316 stainless steel, this 0.6mm thick adaptor is built for robustness and durability. Perfect for use with both MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this adaptor makes it easier than ever to create a full system chimney that complies with Building Regulations Document J.
Suitable for multi-fuel appliances, it can withstand temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation) and is ideal for use with wood, smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances. Installation requires that the adaptor be enclosed within an existing masonry chimney, ensuring that no flex is visible. Proper securing using fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant is recommended for a gas-tight seal.
Routine maintenance and sweeping should be carried out by a competent professional at least twice a year for solid fuel applications to ensure optimal performance and safety.
