VIT-Smooth pipes act as a reliable link between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, but are not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.Constructed from zero carbon steel, the VIT-Smooth pipe measures Ø 150mm and features a friction-fit joint that typically requires no sealing.

However, for absolute security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent any condensate escape.Attention to detail in installation is crucial: ensure a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials and install with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates inside the flue system. The built-in access door facilitates easy sweeping and maintenance, crucial for solid fuel applications.
