Expertly crafted from zero carbon steel, this pipe features a durable vitreous enamel coating in a sleek black gloss finish, making it both functional and stylish. Suitable for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, the VIT-Smooth pipe can handle temperatures up to 600°C, providing versatility and reliability.
Designed to connect your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, this pipe should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward, with the smaller diameter always pointing downward to ensure condensates stay within the flue system. This friction-fit joint system doesn't require joint sealing, but for added security, a jointing compound such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used.
Be sure to cover any cut edges with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Regular maintenance is recommended, especially for solid fuel applications, and access doors should be installed at directional changes for easy cleaning.
