The VIT-Smooth GLOSS - 1000mm Pipe with Door - Ø 150mm is a premium connecting pipe designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. Constructed from zero carbon steel and finished with a powder vitreous enamel coating, this single-skin pipe is ideal for direct connections between your appliance and flue systems such as Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System.Please note, this pipe is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation should ensure a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials.
The pipe's friction fit joints do not require sealing, though a jointing compound can be used for additional security. Additionally, the pipe is designed for cutting, but any exposed steel must be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.Maintenance is straightforward, especially with the built-in access door enabling easy inspection and cleaning. For solid fuel applications, it is recommended that chimneys be swept at least once a year to maintain optimal performance.
