The VIT-Smooth Gloss 500mm Pipe with a 150mm diameter is a versatile and essential component for your flue system. Designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, this high-quality pipe can handle temperatures up to 600°C. Made from zero carbon steel and coated with a powder vitreous enamel in a sleek gloss black finish, the VIT-Smooth pipe offers both functionality and style.
It is intended solely as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. While it is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls, it shines in its role as a connecting pipe, ensuring safety and efficiency. Installation is a breeze with the VIT-Smooth's friction fit joints, which do not require sealing but can be secured with jointing compound for extra assurance.
Just remember to cut with care and cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. This pipe is also designed for easy maintenance, allowing access for inspection and cleaning. For solid fuel applications, it is recommended that chimneys be swept at least once a year.
