The VIT-Smooth 90° Split Rosette Collar (Flat) - Ø 125mm is an elegant and functional accessory for your heating appliance setup. Perfect for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C, this rosette collar serves as a finishing touch to cover the entry hole into a non-combustible wall or register plate.Constructed from single-skin, zero carbon steel with a powder vitreous enamel coating in a matt black finish, the VIT-Smooth system ensures both durability and a sleek appearance. It is designed to be a connecting piece between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system but must not pass through ceilings or combustible walls.In terms of installation, ensure the VIT-Smooth is placed correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to maintain the integrity of the flue system and contain condensates.

Each joint in the friction-fit system can optionally be sealed with a fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant for added security. Additionally, it is critical to maintain a clearance of 375mm from any combustible material.Proper maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel appliances. Make provision for inspection and cleaning, particularly at changes of direction by incorporating VIT-Smooth with access doors.

It is recommended that chimneys be swept at least once a year, or as necessary, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
