The Pot Hanger with Anti-Downdraught Cowl (Terracotta) - Ø 200 is an essential component in the setup of MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. Designed to be installed at the top of the chimney pot, it supports the vertical weight of the liner without the need to remove the pot. This product is suitable for use with wood (under 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, enduring temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation).
The anti-downdraught cowl prevents backflow of smoke and enhances rain protection, safeguarding the chimney's integrity. Compliance with Building Regulations Document J ensures the liner is entirely enclosed within a masonry chimney, disallowing non-masonry enclosures. For optimal maintenance, sweeping by a competent person is recommended annually, especially for solid fuel applications, which should be cleaned twice a year to remove deposits.
