The Pot Hanger with AD Cowl (Natural) - Ø 200 is a must-have accessory for any chimney system using MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. This high-quality fitting ensures seamless integration, turning your setup into a fully functional chimney system. Designed to comply with Building Regulations Document J, this accessory is suitable for appliances reaching up to 600°C (T600).
It's perfect for wood with less than 20% moisture content, smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances. It's crucial to note that flexible flue liners must be entirely enclosed within a masonry chimney—non-masonry enclosures like timber or plasterboard are not acceptable. The terminal's primary role is to prevent water and vermin from entering the flue, offering additional protection against rain and downdraught.
Moreover, it supports the vertical weight of the liner from the chimney pot, ensuring the chimney structure is robust and free from cracks. Regular maintenance, including bi-annual sweeping by a HETAS-registered chimney sweep, ensures optimal performance and longevity.
