Ideal for multi-fuel applications, it adheres to Building Regulations Document J, which mandates that flexible flue liners must be installed within masonry chimneys.
The London Gather is constructed to withstand high temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation) and is suitable for use with wood (moisture content <20%), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances. This robust accessory includes secure attachment provisions and requires high-temperature sealant, fire cement, or ceramic rope for a gas-tight seal. Regular maintenance and sweeping, preferably by certified HETAS professionals, are crucial to ensure the chimney system remains clean and safe.
