The London Gather 9 x 12 inch - Ø 150 is a top-tier installation fitting designed for maximum efficiency with Mi-Flex 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. Crafted to create a robust and seamless full chimney system, this gather hood is ideal for a range of fuels including wood with less than 20% moisture content, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. With building regulations in mind, this unit is set to operate up to 600°C (T600 designation) and must be securely installed inside a masonry chimney.
The gather hood facilitates a larger area for flue gases to escape, enhancing the overall performance and safety of your chimney. The lower connection must be firmly secured to the brick chimney using recommended adhesives such as fire cement or high-temperature sealant for a gas-tight seal. It is strongly recommended to undertake annual maintenance and sweeping by a qualified professional; for solid fuel applications, you may refer to HETAS registered sweeps.
