The VIT-Smooth Traditional Stove Adaptor, with a diameter of 125mm, is an essential component for ensuring your stove operates efficiently and safely. Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, this single-skin connecting flue system is manufactured from zero carbon steel and features a robust powder vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish. Designed for optimal performance, the VIT-Smooth should only be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.
It should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. When installing, ensure the adaptor is fitted the correct way up, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates within the system. For extra security, joints can be sealed with a jointing compound, though the friction fit design often makes this unnecessary.
Always use high-temperature paint to cover exposed steel after cutting to prevent rusting. Regular maintenance such as chimney sweeping is essential, particularly for solid fuel applications. Our product provides easy access for inspection and cleaning.
