The VIT-Smooth Increaser - Ø 125-150mm is the perfect solution for adapting your VIT-Smooth flue system. Specifically designed for connecting your appliance to a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, this increaser is capable of handling gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. Fabricated from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matt black finish, the VIT-Smooth Increaser ensures both strength and style.When installing, ensure that the smaller diameter points downward to keep condensates within the flue system, preventing any external damage or aesthetic degradation.

The VIT-Smooth system uses a friction fit joint that doesn't require sealing; however, for extra security, you may apply jointing compound such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Note that the VIT-Smooth pipe should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls and must be installed at least 375mm away from any combustible materials. Proper PPE should be worn during installation for safety.For solid fuel applications, regular chimney inspection and cleaning are crucial.

Adding an access door at directional changes will facilitate maintenance tasks. We recommend that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept at least once a year.
