The VIT-Smooth 500mm 1 Part Adjustable Pipe (Ø 175mm) offers exceptional performance and durability. Perfectly suited for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, this connecting pipe serves as a vital component between the appliance and your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Constructed from zero carbon steel with a powder vitreous enamel coating, it features a sleek matt black finish that complements any setup.
Please note, VIT-Smooth pipes should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. During installation, ensure the smaller diameter always points downward to keep condensates within the system. For added security, joints can be sealed with a compound like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant.
Maintenance of the flue system is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications, so installing VIT-Smooth pipes with access doors at direction changes is advisable. Always use high-temperature paint to cover any exposed steel when cutting to prevent rust.
