The Stainless Stove Mate Plate and Gasket - Ø 150 is an expertly designed component for seamlessly covering the entry point into a register plate as the connecting flue passes through. Part of the MF20 MI-FLEX range, this accessory is perfect for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, forming a complete chimney system when integrated together. This product is compliant with Building Regulations Document J, which stipulates that flexible flue liners should be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney.
It is not suitable for enclosures made from timber or plasterboard. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation), it is ideal for use with various fuels, including wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. For optimal performance and safety, regular cleaning and sweeping—at least twice yearly for solid fuel appliances—is recommended.
This helps to remove any residue and inspect for blockages like bird nests.
