According to Building Regulations Document J, flexible flue liners must be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney.
This adaptor ensures that installation meets safety standards while being suitable for appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation). Ideal for use with wood having less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil, this adaptor secures the transition from connecting flue systems to flexible liners, ensuring a gas-tight seal with the use of fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant. Installed at the base of the chimney underneath the register plate, it features a long tail single-wall connection, making it a versatile and essential piece for any compliant chimney setup.
