The Screw-FIX Adaptor to SW, 1mm - Ø 150 is an essential part of the MI-FLEX installation family, designed for a perfect fit with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. This robust 1mm 316 stainless steel adaptor serves as a vital transitional joint, seamlessly connecting a rigid single wall flue system to an MI-FLEX liner of the same diameter. Ideal for multi-fuel applications including wood (with <20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil, this adaptor ensures a secure and efficient connection.
In line with Building Regulations Document J, this accessory is designed to enclose the flexible liner within a masonry chimney, avoiding non-masonry enclosures such as timber or plasterboard boxing. Bottom fixings, crucial for creating a gas-tight seal, should be securely attached using fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant. For optimal performance, regular sweeping and maintenance by a HETAS registered sweep is recommended.
