The Screw-FIX Rain Cap Ø 125 is an essential accessory for your chimney system, specifically designed to prevent rain ingress and protect the flue. Perfectly compatible with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this product ensures a fully functional chimney when used together with these liners. Built to comply with Building Regulations Document J, it ensures that your flue liner remains completely enclosed within a masonry chimney.
Suitable for use on appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C (T600), this cap caters to various fuel types including wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. Besides protecting from rain, terminals also stop vermin and birds from entering the flue, effectively securing your system. Easy maintenance is crucial, and the system is designed for hassle-free sweeping and upkeep carried out by competent professionals.
For solid fuel applications, using HETAS registered sweeps is recommended. Annual inspections and bi-annual sweeping are advised to ensure the system is free from deposits and blockages.
