Compliance with Building Regulations Document J ensures safe installation, requiring the flexible flue liner to be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney.

Withstanding temperatures up to 600°C, this T600 designated cowl is suitable for appliances that burn wood (with less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil.Primarily, terminals like this cowl are pivotal in stopping water or vermin from entering the flue. They also prevent excess water from running back to the appliance, especially vital if the appliance lacks a condense drain. The pot hanging cowl supports the vertical weight of the flue liner by attaching securely to the chimney pot, which must be structurally sound and in good condition.Fully compliant with the new BSEN standard, this standard fit cowl comes equipped with a rain cap and bird guard, enhancing rain protection and preventing bird entry.

Designed for easy installation, it employs the standard jubilee fixing method, as detailed in our comprehensive installation instructions.Maintain your chimney system with ease. Regular sweeping and inspection are essential. For solid fuel applications, look for HETAS registered sweeps at www.hetas.co.uk.
