It complies with Building Regulations Document J, mandating that flexible flue liners be enclosed inside a masonry chimney.

This robust clamp is suitable for high-temperature applications up to 600°C and supports the use of wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coals, gas, and oil appliances. It's important to maintain your chimney system properly, and we recommend sweeping and inspection at least once a year, ideally twice for solid fuel systems.

For optimal safety, a professional installer or a HETAS registered technician should carry out the installation. Additionally, periodic maintenance, including at least one annual sweep (or twice yearly for solid fuel systems), is essential to maintain the integrity of your chimney system. When installing, make sure that all components are correctly aligned and that any additional optional accessories, such as extra support brackets or sealing kits, are properly fitted to maximise performance.

Only competent persons, such as HETAS registered sweeps, should carry out chimney sweeping. Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys.
