This component is essential for linking your heating appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, ensuring a secure and efficient setup. Crafted from zero carbon steel and finished with a matt black powder vitreous enamel coating, the VIT-Smooth ensures durability and a sleek appearance.

It must be noted that this pipe is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.Proper installation of the VIT-Smooth 45° Elbow is crucial. Ensure no part of it is installed within 375mm of combustible materials like wood or plasterboards. The smaller diameter end should always point downward to contain condensates within the flue system, preventing exterior leakage.

While the VIT-Smooth relies on a friction fit and doesn’t necessarily require sealed joints, adding a jointing compound—such as fire cement or high temperature silicone—can enhance security. Additionally, any cut surfaces must be treated with high temperature paint to avoid rusting.For maintenance, it’s important to include inspection and cleaning provisions, especially for solid fuel applications.
