It is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, making it versatile and efficient.
It is important to note that VIT-Smooth is intended solely as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, and should never be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward; however, ensure a clearance of at least 375mm from combustible materials. The VIT-Smooth design includes friction-fit joints, negating the need for seals, although jointing compounds can be added for extra security.
Each piece can be cut to size, but exposed steel should be protected with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular inspection and cleaning are essential, particularly for solid fuel applications, which can be conveniently carried out through the access door.
