The VIT-Smooth GLOSS - Traditional Stove pipe 500mm - Ø 150mm is specifically designed for connecting gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances to your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Capable of handling temperatures up to 600°C, this single skin pipe is made from zero carbon steel and features a sleek, powder vitreous enamel gloss black finish for optimal durability and aesthetic appeal. Not to be used for passing through ceilings or combustible walls, VIT-Smooth ensures safe and effective operation when installed correctly.
For best results, ensure the smaller diameter points downward to prevent condensates from escaping. This pipe can be friction fit or sealed with a jointing compound for added security. Remember, it must be installed at least 375mm away from combustible materials and exposed steel should be covered with high-temperature paint when cut.
Regular maintenance, including annual sweeping for solid fuel applications, is recommended to keep your system in top shape.
