Designed to handle temperatures up to 600°C, this connecting pipe is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances. It boasts a single-skin construction made of zero carbon steel, powder-coated with vitreous enamel for a durable gloss black finish.

Please note, VIT-Smooth should only be used as a connecting pipe and must not pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward: ensure the smaller diameter points downward to prevent condensates from escaping. While the friction fit joint eliminates the need for sealing, adding a jointing compound can provide extra security.

For any adjustments, VIT-Smooth can be cut but make sure to coat exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.Regular maintenance is crucial, particularly for solid fuel applications. Incorporate access doors for easier inspection and cleaning at direction changes.

Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be swept at least once a year.
