Perfect for connecting gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances to your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, this connecting pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C. It's constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable powder vitreous enamel in a sleek gloss black finish, ensuring both robustness and aesthetic appeal.
Note, this pipe is intended solely for use as a connecting pipe and should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Easy installation is a hallmark of the VIT-Smooth system — its friction fit joints require no sealing, but for added security, fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be applied. Always ensure appropriate PPE is worn during installation.
Regular maintenance and cleaning are crucial, especially for systems using solid fuel, facilitated by installing VIT-Smooth with access doors at directional changes. Ensure your chimney is swept at least annually to maintain optimal performance.
