The VIT-Smooth Flue Damper with a Ø 150mm diameter is a premium-grade solution suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances. Designed to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, this flue damper excels in both performance and durability. Manufactured from zero carbon steel and coated with powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matt black finish, VIT-Smooth offers both aesthetic appeal and robust functionality.
Ideal for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, VIT-Smooth ensures seamless integration and efficiency. It's crucial to note that VIT-Smooth is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Easy to install with no need for joint sealing, although high-temperature silicone sealant or fire cement can be used for added security.
It’s also designed to be cut to size, but any exposed steel must be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Regular maintenance, including an annual sweep for solid fuel systems, is recommended to keep your flue system in optimal condition.
