The VIT-Smooth 90° Split Rosette Collar (Flat) - Ø 150mm is an indispensable accessory for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with operating temperatures up to 600°C. Designed as a decorative cover, it elegantly hides the entry hole into a non-combustible wall or register plate. Comprising two parts, the collar can be installed either vertically or horizontally at a 90° angle, providing flexibility and aesthetic appeal.Constructed from high-quality zero carbon steel and coated with a durable matt black powder vitreous enamel, VIT-Smooth ensures longevity and resistance to high temperatures.
Intended to be used only as a connecting pipe between the appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, it must not pass through ceilings or combustible walls.When installing, place the smaller diameter downward to retain condensates within the system. It features a friction-fit joint for easy assembly; sealing joints with high-temperature silicone or fire cement is optional for extra security.VIT-Smooth is designed to be cut, but it is crucial to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Proper PPE should be worn during installation.
Routine maintenance, including inspecting and sweeping chimneys serving solid fuel appliances, is recommended at least once a year.
