The VIT-Smooth 500mm Pipe with Door - Ø 150mm is a versatile and robust connecting pipe, suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. This pipe should be used exclusively as a connecting pipe between your appliance and your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Note that it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with a matte black powder vitreous enamel finish, the VIT-Smooth ensures durability and a sleek appearance. Installation is straightforward with a friction fit joint that requires no sealing. However, for extra security, you can opt to use a jointing compound like fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant.
The pipe includes an access door for convenient chimney sweeping and cleaning, making it particularly beneficial for solid fuel applications. When installing, ensure that the smaller diameter points downward to keep condensates within the system. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation to ensure safety.
