The VIT-Smooth 1000mm Pipe with Door - Ø 150mm is a premium connecting flue pipe designed for efficiency and durability. Ideal for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, this pipe can handle temperatures up to 600°C. Manufactured from zero-carbon steel with a sleek powder vitreous enamel matt black finish, it offers not just high performance but also a stylish look.
Specifically engineered as a connecting pipe, it should link your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System and must not pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward, with a friction fit joint that doesn't require sealing. However, you can opt for additional security using a jointing compound like fire cement.
Keep safety in mind by wearing appropriate PPE during installation. Maintenance is easy as well, thanks to the built-in access door which facilitates chimney sweeping and inspection. Regular sweeping is particularly crucial for solid fuel appliances, and this can be done effectively with at least once a year frequency.
