Crafted from zero carbon steel and coated in a powder vitreous enamel with a matte black finish, this pipe ensures longevity and resilience. Suitable for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, it handles temperatures up to 600°C with ease.Be mindful of installation requirements: VIT-Smooth should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Maintain a distance of at least 375mm from any combustible material. Installation is straightforward with its friction fit joint, eliminating the need for sealing, although additional jointing compounds can be used for extra security. If cutting is required, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.Maintenance is key, especially for solid fuel applications.
Install access doors at directional changes for easier inspection and cleaning. Remember to sweep and maintain solid fuel chimneys at least once a year.
